The Chinese language is taught by a native speaker according to modern methods and modern study materials.
The aim of studying
The aim of studying the practical Chinese language course consists of the gradual development of communicative skills among students. It can be achieved through learning language structure and functions, cultural information, also audition, speaking, reading and writing.
Levels
- HSK Level 1 (1st semester) – 4 months.
- HSK Level 2 (2nd semester) – 4 months.
- HSK Level 3 (3rd semester) – 4 months.
- HSK Level 4 (4th semester) – 4 months.
- HSK Level 5 (5th semester) – 4 months.
- HSK Level 6 (6th semester) – 4 months.

Teaching methods
Teaching methods
All teaching methods are synthesized: from grammar-oriented approach to studying colloquial speech.
The attention is paid to development of communicative speech skills, learning major structures of the language.
Mastering major language skills through exercises and tasks, including grammar skills.
Peculiarities of Practical Chinese language course
The modular teaching method is used.
Also a method of constant repeating of previously learned material (language structure and functions) is used.
Simple to complex method
- The attention is paid to pronunciation;
- Simple phrases of colloquial speech are learned;
- Making up various sentences models;
- Basic knowledge for Chinese language structure;
- Summarizing, broadening and intensification of previously learned lexical turns of speech and different sentences models.
At the first stages of studying the basic rules and topics for discussion are mastered; abilities to use standard speech models for communication are developed.
Then students train advanced skills of understanding for more complicated material, an ability to make up more complicated sentences.
More intensive work for developing four skills: audition, reading and writing.
The studying process includes different materials: illustrations, newspaper articles, schedules, menu from restaurants, ads and others.
The focus is made on systematic hieroglyphs learning, that’s why the attention is paid to basic riles of Chinese written language.
