Teaching activities
In 2000 N. Dovgialo graduated from Polotsk State University having obtained a Diploma with Honours and specialized in History.
Since 2000 she has been working at Polotsk State University as a lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, head of the department. Her total working experience at the University is 17 years.
In 2008 N. Dovgialo took her postgraduate study specialized in History at A.A. Kuleshov Mogilev State University
In 2016 she defended her PhD thesis in History of Belarus at the Institute of History of the National Academy of Science of the Republic of Belarus, a Certificate of Honour of the Ministry of Education of the Republic Belarus in 2017.
N. Dovgialo was awarded a Certificate of Honour of Novopolotsk Deputy council and City executive committee in 2008, a badge for patriotic youth upbringing in 2010, in 2017 – the Certificate of Honor of Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

Scientific interests
- The Confessional history of Belarus.
The PhD thesis «Confessional politics of Belarusian SSR in 1921-1939». The results of the research have been implemented in 13 scientific conferences. Major provisions of the thesis have been reflected in 17 publications.
