In 1959 – 1965, he took a part-time course at Kaliningrad Technical Institute, gained a qualification of a machine engineer in machine-building, metal-cutting machines and tools.

In 1965 – 1968, he was an assistant at the Department of Machine-building Technology at Kaliningrad Technical Institute. In 1968 – 1971, Anatoly took a postgraduate course at the Physical-Technical Scientific and Research Institute of the National Academy of BSSR and presented his thesis in “Technology of Machine Building” successfully. In 1971 – 1975, he worked as an assistant and a senior lecturer at the Department of Machine-building Technology at Kaliningrad Technical Institute.

In 1975 – 1997, Anatoly G. was an Associate Professor at the Department of Machine-building Technology and at the Department of Metal-cutting Machine Tools at Novopolotsk Polytechnic Institute and then Polotsk State University. In 1997 – 2004, he worked as the Head of the Educational and Methodological Department, founded in 1997 at PSU.

Since 2004, Anatoly has been a Professor at the Department of Metal-cutting Machine Tools and then of the Department of Technology and Equipment of Machine-building Industry.

Currently teaches the following disciplines:

Anatoly Golembiyevsky has more than 85 core publications. Besides, he has more than 100 patents of the Russian Federation, Belarus and copyright certificates of the USSR.
