In 1980, Gennady Seryakov graduated from Novopolotsk Polytechnic Institute specializing in “Civil and Industrial Engineering”.

After graduating, G. Seryakov worked as a master worker, a foreman of a building office; an engineer, the Head of the works and building department at “Polymir”; a deputy director of the works and building department at Polotsk “Steklovolokno”; a deputy director of the works and building department at “Polymir”; a Director General at real estate investment and development company; an adviser on major construction work PJSC “SIBUR Holding”, Moscow, Russian Federation.

Gennady Seryakov defended his PhD thesis on “Investment Activity Control in the Managerial System of Industrial Organization”.

In 2007-2008, he took a postgraduate course at State Academy of Professional Retraining and Development for High-level Personnel and Investment Professionals, Moscow, Russian Federation.

Gennady Seryakov has dozens of publications on the mentioned above topics in scientific journals both in the Republic of Belarus and in Russian Federation.
