- A1 (Beginner):
- understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at meeting your everyday needs
- name surroundings
- introduce yourself to others and to ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, people you know and things you have
- interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help
- fill out forms and questionnaires

- A2 (Elementary):
- understand certain sentences and frequently used expressions
- deal with simple and straightforward information
- communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar matters
- describe in simple terms aspects of your background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need (very basic personal and family information, health, local geography, employment, hobbies)

- B1 (Intermediate):

- express requests, hopes, emotions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans

- B2 (Upper-Intermediate):

Language testing
OnSET
OnSET is an online test, which detects your level of German / English. Anyone who’s studying German or English has an opportunity to check their knowledge in a quick, simple and accurate way. OnSET testing is fully computerized and standardized. All the tasks are practically approved.
OnSET is based on the C-Test system principles. C-Test consists of small texts on different topics and levels of difficulty. The participants of the test should recover the right form of the word with some parts left. The only one right variant is possible. For each word recovered one point is given. There are no elisions in the first and the last sentences, which helps to understand the whole context and recover the words.
- Duration of the test – 60 minutes. About 20 for registration and instructions and 40 for the test.
- The results of the test are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages from A2 to C1 and shown immediately after its completion. The participants get their certificates straight after the completion of the test.
