Belarusian Language and Culture Summer School
Polotsk State University invites you to participate in Belarusian language and culture summer school in ancient Polotsk! It’s a great chance to learn Belarusian language, literature and culture, to get acquainted with Belarus, its traditions and beauty.
The summer school program is meant for those who start studying Belarusian philology and also want to improve their knowledge and skills.
Studying Belarusian philology is offered according to the following directions:
- Belarusian language: intensive communicative course, bases of linguo-cultural studies
- Belarusian literature: the most important pages of Belarusian literature from the past to the present: from the Eastern Slavic first-printer Francysk Skaryna to the Nobel Laureate Svetlana Alexievich
- Belarusian culture: traditional culture of Belarusian Podvinye, unique architecture of the city museum Polotsk
You get:
- Belarusian language, literature and culture lessons – 6 hours per day (two lectures during the first part of the day and seminars during the second one – different aspects of Belarusian language, literature and culture with the team of highly skilled teachers and tour guides)

Orienteering Summer School
Polotsk State University and “Eridan” orienteering club invite you to take part in a training camp at the orienteering summer school in Polotsk. During the summer school you will have an opportunity to exchange experience in training sportsmen in orienteering and learn more about the history of one of the most ancient cities in Belarus.
We offer:
- practical trainings on the maps (distances with the technical tasks of different complexity levels)
- master classes in technical training by experienced coaches
- meetings with the strongest sportsmen of “Eridan” OK
- master class in kinesio taping, myofascial release

Russian Language Summer School «Learn Russian in the heart of Belarus»
Summer school of Russian is a workshop program on spoken Russian, acquaintance with Russian literature and Belarusian culture!
School is for those who want to:
- study and improve spoken Russian language
- try yourself as an actor in the production of plays of Russian authors
- develop their musical abilities and sing popular Russian songs
- get acquainted with the oldest city of Belarus
- study the basics of Russian language
- learn how to dance traditional Belarusian dances and sing folk songs
- learn about Belarusian crafts
We offer:
- interactive lectures and seminars on spoken Russian language – 4 hours per day
- staging of plays of Russian literature
